Frankfurt – Rothenburg – Hohenschwangau – Munich
Depart Frankfurt and start your tour with a half-day trip to Heidelberg, the old university town at the banks of the Neckar River, including a visit of the inner courtyard of the castle. Lunch box is provided. After returning to Frankfurt, the rest of the day in free for you to explore on your own. Overnight in Frankfurt.
Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Wuerzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved ‘Jewel of the Middle Ages’ with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church). The altar was created by the famous wood-carver Tilmann Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight in Rothenburg
Drive through Burgundy & on to Lucerne
After an early breakfast, follow the autoroute across France’s great agricultural lands. After passing the Jura Mountains, cross
into Switzerland at Basel before ending the day in lovely Lucerne. Tonight, enjoy a selection of ambience and local cuisine

In the morning your tickets for Neuschwanstein Castle will be waiting for you at your hotel’s front desk. Visit the famous ‘Cinderella Castle’, built by King Ludwig II before concluding your tour in Munich at approximately 7pm.
