Bern and the Belle Epoque

This quality day excursion takes you to the capital of Switzerland, Bern, with its UNESCO protected covered arcades showcasing historic architecture and contemporary, local boutiques. Wander through the 6km of beautifully decorated arcades, treat yourself to a souvenir or explore the Old Town.

In the afternoon take the train to Zweisimmen where you board your final train and step back in time in beautiful Orient Express inspired carriages, created in the Belle ÉPOQUE STYLE. Sample the local delicacies (pay locally) as you wind through the mountains and down towards Lake Geneva in your opulent carriage before arriving in Montreux.
